If you are on Facebook, you may have seen my post this week about how Kennedy came home with this hat from preschool and told me pilgrims were little people who pinched you if you didn't wear green. She was confusing them with leprechauns (obviously), based on the hat she made. However, tonight her and Ansley got in their "boats" to watch a video and Kennedy put on her hat and said "We are pilgrims in our boats going across the sea!", so I guess she wasn't completely confused on what pilgrims were...of course her former history teacher mommy did spend some time reteaching about them!

Tell Kennedy that Grandma and her students are pretending to be Pilgrims this week, and we are getting on our play boats to go across the ocean, too! We leave tomorrow. But, don't worry, we'll be back in time to come to St. Louis on Friday night!
